What's the best-looking boring-looking car?

For me, the old Infiniti M45 has to be up there. It's nondescript and dull, but in an elegant, understated, sporty way that I find quite appealing. The Isuzu Trooper is another. It's a grey box on wheels, but it still looks rugged and dignified. What about you, Oppo? What car with dull styling do you actually find attractive?

shouldn't this be "best looking dull car" because the m45 was actually a pretty good drive.

Nothing about the title has to do with how it drove. I drove one, and it was really good. But it looks "boring".

It may have been. That 07 shared a platform with the Five Hundred/Taurus. The above it a Milan though, which shares a platform with the Fusion, MKZ, and Mazda 6. The modern Montego's that I could afford all had CVT's and I wasn't going to suffer that.

I'm called Montego because of this (which has nothing to do with boring):

At the end of the day the 4th gen Seville is as boring looking as a car can be. Its is the full embodiment of a 4 door sedan and nothing much else. No fancy curves, shoops, scoops, ect.. just broad straight lines, flat surfaces, bumpers. Really nothing stands out of design lines. Yet, theres just something about it. The fender flares of the wheel arches. The subtle agressivness of the front end. The use of body color on the bumperd and the minimalist use of chrome accents. Just a lovely car, really minus a few benz amd bimmers its a beautiful swan song to the dying form of sedans.

haha, what can I say. It’s perfect for this question. It’s beautiful when it really shouldn’t be. It’s boring in every way. yet like I said while boring in the sens that it’s truely the essence of a 4 door sedan boiled down to it’s bare essence. in that essence you find it’s beauty. It doesn’t need flashy design gimmicks to draw you in. rather the lack there of is it’s beauty. Slight and subtle design queues are used to highlight lack of pizzazz and remind you that simple is both elegant and beautiful. no Sedan post 2005 has offerened the timeless lines that can be found in the 4th gen Seville. Rather Sedans now days are given design ques to draw the eye’s attention in ways to help disguise the sedan. For example the four door coupe design, or high belt lines to make it seem taller almost SUV like, or dressing it up and shortening the front and read to give it a more sports car like appearance. These examples and many more are used to hided the Sedaniness of the modern Sedan. this was the sedans swan song.

VIVA LA SEDAN!!!

I like boring but handsome looking cars. M45 is good ‘un.

I think the NA miata is boring but handsome and well designed.

Kinja'd!!!

This might not work but let me justify it a bit. its basically a wedge with lines and angles but its not outrageous or really daring I would say but the way all the horizontal lines and angles work together makes it really distinctive and attractive and the proportions are well done and interesting. Its a car that looks boring at first but taking all the details and proportions become better looking the more you look at it.
